About me
I am passionate about
my city,
my home.
I have been a Merriam resident since 2015. I chose to live in Merriam for two reasons: it is a great place to raise my two children, and I wanted to be close to my twin sister and her family.
I graduated from Kansas State University with my bachelors in Landscape and Turf Management and a minor in American Ethnic Studies. I learned to value respect. Respect for nature and our environment and respect for all humans regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
I've been a supervisor at Starbucks and have learned to deal with difficult situations so I'm prepared to take on the next few years on the City Council to bring transparency, community, school investment, and growth to Merriam. I'm open-minded and a problem solver who will work for the citizens of Merriam.
Merriam City Council District 2 is bordered by ~51st/53rd to the north, Shawnee Mission Parkway to the south and reaches from Switzer to Antioch.
