About me
I am passionate about
my city,
my home.
I have been a Merriam resident since 2015. I chose to live in Merriam for two reasons: it is a great place to raise my two children, and I want to be close to my twin sister and her family.
I graduated from Kansas State University with my bachelors in Landscape and Turf Management and a minor in American Ethnic Studies. I learned to value respect; respect for nature and our environment and respect for all humans regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
Throughout my life, as a student, as an employee, as a supervisor, as a parent, as a homeowner, I have learned to deal with difficult situations. I'm prepared to take on the next few years on the City Council to bring transparency, community, and growth to Merriam. I'm open-minded and a problem solver who will work for the citizens of Merriam.

Merriam City Council District 2 is bordered by ~51st/53rd to the north, Shawnee Mission Parkway to the south and reaches from Switzer to Antioch.
